Jim Carlson Re-Elected to United Benefits Group Board
The results from the 2011 United Benefits Group Board of Directors
Election are now official, and Jim Carlson has been re-elected to
another five-year term. Jim, General Manager of First Cooperative
Association of Cherokee, Iowa, has served on the Co-op Retirement Plan
Committee and the United Benefits Group Board of Directors since 1999.
United Benefits Group would like to thank the other outstanding
candidates in the election, Jim Magnuson, General Manager of Key
Cooperative, Roland, Iowa, and Dale Piper, General Manager of Midwest
Farmers Cooperative, Elmwood, Nebraska, for their willingness to
participate as candidates from the northern area of UBG’s territory.
Other members of the United Benefits Group Board of
Directors and the Co-op Retirement Plan Committee are Ken Hahn, General
Manager of Planters Cooperative, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; Ed Foster,
President/CEO of All Points Cooperative, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Dave
Christiansen, President/CEO of Mid-Kansas Cooperative, Moundridge,
Kansas; and Stan Stark, President/General Manager of Farmers Cooperative
Co., Haviland, Kansas.
